Our Story
A Journey Through Our Milestones
Founded in 1980 by Albert R. Follachio after retiring from Uniroyal Corporation, Belmont Chemical Company Inc. began as a small distributor of latex and carbon black dispersions. Through steady growth and a commitment to quality, the company expanded into a full-scale manufacturing and compounding facility.
Now operating as Belmont Chemical, LLC, the company has embraced innovation in research and development while continuing to provide customized chemical solutions. Today, Belmont proudly serves a wide range of industries including coatings, HI&I, adhesives, elastomers, and other specialty chemical markets.
1980: Company Established
Founded by Albert. R Follachio in Dalton, Georgia.
2023: Began Operations as Belmont Chemical, LLC
The manufacturing facility underwent extensive renovations.
2025: Main Plant Expansion Completed
The plant completed its expansion to house state of the art chemical reactors.
2025: Expansion into New Markets
With innovation from the R&D division, Belmont Chemical, LLC began expanding it's technology portfolio into a wide range of markets.
